Filming started in March 2023. The project was announced by Disney+ last year and is set in the 1980s. The series is described as 'set in the fictional upper-class county of Rutshire focusing on a long standing rivalry between two powerful men that is about to boil over.' Danny Dyer (who played Mick Carter in EastEnders) plays the role of Freddie Jones. The series also stars Alex Hassell, Aidan Turner and Claire Rushbrook. The lead director is BAFTA nominated Elliot Hegarty (Ted Lasso, Cheaters and Trying) who also serves as executive producer on the first three episodes. Eliza Mellor (The Midwich Cuckoos, Behind Her Eyes and Poldark) is series producer. The series is written by Dominic Treadwell-Collins and Laura Wade.
